About Mumbra Index

Mumbra Index is a selective local index for practical information that is often missing, scattered or out of date.

Why this exists

Finding a provider name is usually easy. Finding the right department, a working phone number, a current charge, a document requirement or a transport condition often is not.

Useful details around Mumbra are split across notice boards, phone calls, map profiles, old directory pages and local knowledge. Some details have never been published online. Mumbra Index turns specific local findings into dated, reviewable records.

Our position

We are not trying to look complete.

  • We would rather leave a provider out than publish a number or claim we cannot support.
  • We do not scrape directories to inflate the size of the index.
  • We do not sell rankings, favourable wording or faster editorial treatment.
  • If a detail is unknown, we omit it. If a source becomes doubtful, we review, hide or remove the affected information.
  • Being listed does not mean that we recommend, certify or trust a provider.

What we publish

Local contacts, service details and practical guides for Mumbra. This includes reported charges, documents to carry and questions to ask before travelling or paying.

Listings are provided for information, not as recommendations. The list does not cover every provider, and inclusion does not imply personal use, trust or a quality rating.

How listings are chosen

Information for service providers

Dates and changing details

Payments and bookings

Mumbra Index does not collect payments, accept deposits or arrange bookings. We do not appoint booking agents. Contact providers directly to discuss their services.

We do not publish provider payment QR codes, UPI IDs or bank details, or list brokers offering to secure blood, beds or appointments.

Who runs it

Mumbra Index is maintained by ShifteQ as a practical local information project for Mumbra.

Corrections

If you run a listed service, please tell us when your phone number, department, location, hours, charges, requirements or services change. Residents can report the same issues. We review reports before updating or removing entries, and suggestions are not published automatically.

You can also report suspected impersonation or payment fraud. Credible concerns about a contact may lead us to hide its links while we investigate, without treating an allegation as a proven fact.

We cannot guarantee a provider’s conduct or prevent every scam. Reports are reviewed manually; this is not an emergency or immediate-response service.

Report a concern or add a listing

Please omit patient details and identifying information from any supporting receipt.
